The Australian Defence Force (ADF) Sponsored Undergraduate scheme is available to Arts, Business, Law, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Radiology, Nursing, Engineering and Environmental Health students who have started their degree, at any university in Australia. You’ll continue to study at your university till the end of your degree.

HELP contributions paid (formerly known as HECS)
The ADF will start paying your HELP contributions from the moment you join the scheme, until you complete your degree. That’s a fantastic start to your professional life.

After Graduation You Are
An officer in the Navy, Army or Air Force

Guaranteed a job
After graduation you will be guaranteed a job and you’ll be practicing the profession you’re qualified in. And you will be well rewarded for your efforts, with a starting salary package, ranging from approximately $69,000p.a. to $94,000p.a.
A member of the ADF
You’re a member of the ADF for the length of your sponsorship plus one year. What this really means is you’ll be working as part of a supportive team, with the latest and best equipment and pursuing opportunities to work around Australia and overseas. That sounds like a commitment worth making.
