Goulburn-Murray Water (G-MW) is situated within the City of Greater Shepparton (Tatura) and is one of Australia's leading water authorities. Due to the nation wide focus on water savings and sustainability it is an exciting and challenging time to join the water industry and become involved in all the landmark projects that are being undertaken.
G-MW's core business activities include the management of water storages, delivery and drainage systems, harvesting, storing and delivering water, and ensuring water is available for all of our customers. It is an exciting time to be involved in G-MW as over the next decade G-MW will play a key role in delivering the State and Federal Government’s $2 billion investment in upgrading northern Victoria’s irrigation delivery network.
Vacation Employment Opportunities
If you want to explore career opportunities before you graduate then G-MW vacation program is for you. Our program kick starts your career by developing your skills and providing you with real life work experience.
G-MW's vacation program is available to third and fourth year students in the fields of electrical, mechanical, environment and civil engineering as well as science, natural resource management, IT and human resources. The program runs over the summer vacation period from December to February.
