Who are we looking for?
At Microsoft, we look for highly energetic people with initiative and drive. We strive to find passionate, creative individuals with the ability to think laterally.
Microsoft offers two opportunities for current students; an Internship Program and the MACH Program. Our programs are flexible and we invite candidates to discuss program options and to let us know what suits you best.
The Microsoft Intern Program is a flexible program of up to 12 months, and is best suited to those in their penultimate year of studies; that is; those who graduate in about 1-2 years time. We are seeking the next generation of talent, and hoping to provide great development for you in your specific area of interest and in your overall knowledge of how to work in a large global environment. Typically, our Interns have not had significant work experience elsewhere: the program is designed as the career launching pad for new entrants to the industry.
The
Microsoft Academy for College Hires (MACH) is a 2 year accelerated career
development program designed to recruit and hire top-performing graduates
across a broad range of roles, and aims to cultivate your talent utilising
training, mentoring, and community support.
MACH participants are hired based on potential and are provided with a
comprehensive on-boarding curriculum, enabling them to accelerate their careers
and become part of the next generation of key contributors and leaders.
Microsoft will be invested in your career development and provide guidance and
support to enable you to excel in your Microsoft career.
Where could you fit in?
Interns may be studying one of many tertiary disciplines including marketing, economics, computer science/B.Tech., engineering, and business. Good grades are important, but the most important talents we seek from our intern applicants are genuine passion and curiosity about technology, creative thinking, and the desire to work hard alongside some great minds in the industry.
We have opportunities in Sales, Marketing, Technical - Support, Technical - Development and Consulting Services. If you are interested in technical roles such as core tech, developer or deep IT, these opportunities are predominantly in the US.
